Information Collection and Use

The “OHS Portland Communities” app is designed as an interactive tool for use by visitors at the Oregon Historical Society. It features slides of content regarding historic Portland communities, allowing users to engage with the material through swiping, watching embedded videos, reading descriptions, and inspecting photographic documentation.

Sticky Culture collects anonymous interaction data such as gestures, content inspection, and estimated session durations. This data is collected from the three devices where the app is intended to be installed and is sent directly to our own Firebase database.

Sticky Culture uses this data to evaluate visitor engagement with the content in the app and ensure the devices are working properly.
